ARCHERY TAG

Archery Tag is a unique sport that combines elements of dodgeball, paintball and other combat-style games with the timeless skills of archery.

Players take aim at each other with our non-lethal arrows to score points or eliminate opposing team members. Teams of generally five players on opposite sides of the field, separated by a neutral zone, attempt to hit opposing players with non-lethal arrows.

As there is a certain amount of skill involved the starting age is 10 years. This can differ with the individual but please consider you will be wearing a safety mask, loading a bow under the pressure of incoming fire, and of course using the bows to shoot back!

ENCLOSED SHOES (SNEAKERS OR JOGGERS) ARE A MUST!

Remember, you will be running and dodging arrows!

Get your team together and start your battle today!

ELIMINATION RULES & GAME PLAY

When a player is hit with an arrow, they are out of the game until one of their teammates catches an arrow or knocks out one of the spots from the opposing team’s 5-spot target.

The object of this style of play is to have the most players and target spots remaining at the end of a timed game. The first team to legally eliminate all opposing players will be declared the winner. If neither team has been eliminated at the end of the time limit, the team with the greater number of players will be declared the winner.

At the end of the time limit, the team with the greater number of players and target spots remaining will be declared the  winner. If the game is tied at the end of regulation play, the game will continue in sudden death overtime. Each player must have at least one arrow when overtime begins. The referee signals the beginning of overtime. The first team with a legal hit will be declared the winner.

LEAGUE RULES & GAMEPLAY

Perfect for experienced players who want a fast paced, high action game. As this style requires two referees it is only available by booking in advance.  When a player is hit with an arrow, they remain in the game and continue to play.  The aim of the game is to accumulate the most points.  At the end of the session, the team with the greater number of points will be declared the winner.

If the game is tied at the end of regulation play, the game will continue in sudden death overtime. Each player must have at least one arrow when overtime begins.  The referee signals the beginning of overtime. The first team with a legal hit will be declared the winner.
